Shipping policy
We ship physical products bought on our website, such as:
- sauces
- dry goods
- merchandise
- physical gift vouchers
- other retail items sold online
This page does not apply to takeaway food orders placed through Uber Eats, Deliveroo or Just Eat.
Where we ship
We currently ship to:
- Mainland UK
- any other locations shown at checkout
If your address cannot be selected at checkout, we do not currently ship there.
How long orders take
We normally dispatch orders within 1 to 3 working days after your payment is confirmed.
Working days are Monday to Friday and do not include bank holidays.
Delivery times
Once dispatched, delivery usually takes:
- Standard UK delivery: 2 to 5 working days
- Express delivery: 1 to 2 working days, where available
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
Delivery cost
Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
The cost may vary depending on:
- your location
- the size or weight of your order
- the delivery service selected
We may also offer free shipping promotions from time to time.
Order updates
After placing your order, you should receive an order confirmation email.
Once your order has been sent, we may also send you a dispatch email with tracking details where available.
Please check your address
Please make sure your:
- delivery address
- email address
- phone number
are correct when you place your order.
We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect details entered at checkout.
Missed or failed deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed because:
- the address was wrong
- nobody was available to receive the parcel
- the parcel was not collected from a depot or pickup point
- access to the address was not possible
the parcel may be returned to us.
If that happens, we may charge the cost of sending it out again.
Damaged, missing or incorrect items
Please check your order as soon as it arrives.
If something is damaged, missing or wrong, email us within 48 hours of delivery at [insert email address].
Please include:
- your order number
- your full name
- a short description of the problem
- clear photos of the item, packaging and label if relevant
Lost parcels
If your parcel looks lost, contact us as soon as possible at [insert email address].
We may need to investigate with the courier before confirming a replacement or refund.
Pre-orders
If you buy a pre-order item, the estimated dispatch date will be shown on the product page.
If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, we may either:
- send everything together once all items are ready, or
- send items separately
Gift vouchers
- Physical gift vouchers are posted like any other product.
- Digital gift cards or e-vouchers are not covered by this shipping policy and will be sent electronically.
Delays outside our control
Sometimes deliveries are delayed by things we cannot control, such as:
- bad weather
- courier delays
- strikes
- transport problems
- busy holiday periods
If there is a serious delay, we will try to keep you updated.
